2010 !!

The New Year 2010 beckons us ... and I am sitting with dreamy wide eyes looking at it with all earnestness as I could gather. Incidentally the second day of the year brings my birthday and the loss of pepper is making salt stronger with the advent of time. Is that making me wiser ... ahem! ... well the time will tell its own story!

So with this event the most talked about things are about the "New Year Resolutions". Interesting it is ... So what are mine? Doing good at work has remained at the top for few years now, rather for many years irrespective of how it has been. But it will be wiser to just not run the goose chase and think smart and start choosing. I should be more careful with my choices and remain objective. Emotion and passion are quintessential for anything anywhere but not while making choices. Start preparing for the next leap and reach another level this year. Basic idea is to remain bullish about the growth.

Go buy a shining new car, preferably a sedan or an SUV :D Money matter has always baffled me, so I will educate myself about it. Earn more, invest well and regularly, and make it grow. Make more use of my brain and do things outside the purview of what my work demands. I was damn active during my studying days and there is no reason it can't come back. Watch a lot of movies, come out of only Bollywood music and expand the horizons. Start reading and writing literary things more and more. Travel is big on my list. How charming the idea itself is to visit places within and outside the country. Nothing can beat to bring back the envied fitness levels and that requires big discipline and correct state of mind. And I must do it for the sake of myself and none else.

Besides, it will be nice to settle down in a marriage this year. So looking out for a companion this year will be another interesting thing in life. Resolutions are usually made to be broken, but the life gets changed and you get charge if you manage the bull's eye for all the targets. Time isn't short if the determination is iron-clad. Happy New Year!!
